An International Conference on Krishnamurti and Consciousness is being held during the period 6 – 8 January, 2006  at Naimisam, Hyderabad with the objective to share knowledge, developments in consciousness studies and to explore the contribution of J.Krishnamurti to this field.

Questions on consciousness will be addressed from the perspectives of :
  - Classical and contemporary Indian and western thought.
  - Scientific approaches to consciousness.
  - Transformation of the individual and society.

The organisers of this event are Jiddu Krishnamurti Centre, Hyderabad and University of Hyderabad, India.
